Yesterday I begun my Haute Couture Sewing II class at the fashion school here in the city! I am super excited about, not only to learn more professional techniques, but to meet new friends with an obvious interest in fashion. On our first day, we began making a nice Jackie O style dress. Learning how to alter patterns to fit our customer. Being the only male, my model is a stuffed dress for on a pole. She is pretty cooperative though, does not talk (she has no head) and does not move around or mind if I prick her with a pin. She also has the "ideal" body measurements. I look forward to all that I will learn in the months to come.
