Pas Égal

Can someone please tell me when have a passion for fashion was the equivalent to having a sexual attraction to people of the same sex as oneself because I don't see the connection and so this confuses me.

Maybe because so many shows about fashion star/feature/etc a stereotypical gay host or somesort?

The assumption cuts the other way too -- you can't play sports and be gay.

The big question is: Should it matter either way?
